What are CTR Rings:
The CTR ring was first created in the 60s when a committee of the LDS church was created to come up with something to help excite the children of the church about the gospel. In 1970, then Apostle Gordon B. Hinckley introduced the original re-sizable ring. The new program was a great success and was implemented into church curriculum. As the children grew into adults, the ring still bore the strong message to always choose the right. Even though the rings no longer fit (and had long since turned their fingers green), many still wanted that constant reminder in their life. Modern designs of the ring were created by other companies and are now sold in many different styles. Modern CTR rings may look different than the original ring, but still bare the same symbolic meaning - to choose the right.
